Subjects#

Subjects are synced from SIMS if you have either the Bookings module or timetable integration enabled.

In these cases the subjects that are configured in SIMS are imported.

What Data is Imported#

The following details from the subject are imported, they are imported as subjects within the subjects configuration list in the Portal module.

  • Code - Mapped to Code

  • ID - Mapped to Third Party ID (This field isn’t visible to users)

  • Name - Mapped to Name

Caution

Subjects that are not marked as “Active” will not be synced.

Permissions#

The following SIMS permissions are required for the sync to complete successfully:

  • Curriculum & Lesson Planner -> Permissions -> Subject
