Training Record#

The training record is a way for you to record the training activities that staff members have completed. I helps you to prove that staff awareness is a priority for your school should you be questioned about it.


Adding a New Entry#

To add a new training record entry to one or more staff members records select the Add option from the Staff Training Records section of the side menu. This will open the Add training record entries view.

You can then complete the required fields to record the training activity. Once the details have been entered, select the staff members that were present at the training event and click the save button to update the training records of the selected staff members.

Once saved the form will be cleared and a notification shown to confirm the action was successful.

Tip

It’s worth taking a second look over the form before saving the record because each staff member selected receives a copy of the details in this form, if you later find a mistake that needs correcting, you’ll have to correct each staff members entry individually.


Editing an Existing Entry#

To edit an existing entry select the View / Edit option from the Staff Training Records section of the side menu. This will open the training record entries index.

You can select the staff member to view the entries for by selecting the corresponding checkbox and clicking view on the tables action bar to open the staff members training record.

To select the training record entry to edit, click the corresponding checkbox and click the edit button on the tables action bar to open the Edit Training Record Entry view.

On this page you can change the details of the training record entry. Once the details have been updated, click the save button to update the record.

Caution

It isn’t recommended to edit the entries if at all possible, the system will record the last date the information was changed and this could undermine the integrity of the entry if it were to appear that you were retrospectively updating the details.


Viewing a Staff Members Record#

To view a staff members record, select the View / Edit option from the Staff Training Records section of the side menu. This will open the training record entries index.

You can select the staff member to view the entries for by selecting the corresponding checkbox and clicking view on the tables action bar to open the staff members training record.

You can see the training record entries for this staff member in chronological order.
