My Classes#

The my classes page shows you all of the classes that you are a supervisor of. It’s main purpose is to allow easy central navigation to all of the functionality relating to homework. You’ll be able to see the following details about each class:

  • The name of the class group.

  • The number of students in the class.

  • The subject of the class.

  • The year group of the class.

You can search your class list by typing the desired class code in the search box (or part of it).

Once you locate the class you’re interested in, you’ll be able to:

  • View the homework tasks assigned to that class.

  • View the classes gradebook.

  • Create a new task for that class.

Click the corresponding button in the footer of the classes block to view the information.


Class Tasks#

Once you’ve selected your class group, you’ll be shown their active homework tasks. Each tasks details will be displayed including:

  • The title of the task.

  • The deadline date and time of the task.

  • The number of students that have been assigned the task.

  • The number of students that have submitted some work.

  • The number of students that have had their work graded.

Tip

You’ll see a small draft indicator next to any homework task that isn’t published yet.

Tip

You’ll see a small attention indicator next to any homework task that has submissions that are not yet graded.

Tip

You’ll see a small archived indicator next to any homework task that’s been archived. This means you won’t see any attachments or student submission files associated to the task.

You can search for the desired homework task by entering the title of the task (or part of it) into the search bar to filter the tasks list immediately.

Once you locate the desired task, you can perform a number of actions:

  • Go to grading for the task, viewing individual student submissions.

  • Copy the task, creating a new task with all of the same details as this one.

  • View the task, specifically designed for showing on a projector to students in class.

  • Edit the tasks details.

  • Delete the task.

  • Download an archive (zip) file containing the student submission files.

  • Download an archive (zip) file containing the graded submission files.

Tip

You can create a new task for this class group by clicking the New Task button next to the search bar.
